Marriage*She married second Joseph Frank Velten, son of Michael Velten and Katherine Miller, on 24 November 1910 in St. Mary's Church, located in Pierce City, Lawrence County, Missouri.3 
Residence*She resided with her widowed daughter, Flora Evans, and grandchildren, in Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri, on 5 April 1930. They lived at 724 St. Charles Avenue. 
Death*Philomena died on 2 December 1930 in Seattle, King County, Washington, at age 73. Minnie died suddenly while visiting her son, Steven, in Seattle, Washington. Her body was returned to Joplin for burial.4,5 
Burial*She was buried on 11 December 1930 in Fairview Cemetery, located in Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri. Services were at Hurlbut Chapel, conducted by Rev. Cliff Titus of the First Community church.5,6
