  1. The baptism record gives date of birth to be March 8, conflicting with the county birth record, which lists date of birth to be March 20. Since the church record also lists the baptismal date to be March 11, before the county birth date, March 8 is taken to be the correct date of birth.
  2. [S290] Philomenam Miller, Baptismal entry, 11 Mar 1871, "Liber Baptismorum Congregationes Assumptionis Beatae Mariae Virginis, Diocesis Clevelandensis, fondata Anno D. 1867," (photocopy of original provided by James Daniel, Los Angeles, CA), 1871, item 1, Original document at the St. Michael's (now St. Gaspar) parish office, Frank, Seneca County, Ohio.
  3. The church baptism record disagrees with the county birth record. The date of baptism (and birth) occurs before the county record's date of birth. Since the baptism record is more likely to be recorded the day of the event and has proven to be more accurate for other events, it's date of birth is taken to be the correct date.
