Will of Peter Didion

     I, Peter Didion, of the county of Christian in the state of Missouri being of sound mind and disposing memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore at any time made.

Item
     I direct that all my debts be fully paid as soon after my demise as well may be, and including my funeral expenses and for religious services to be conducted at my funeral.

Item
     Feeling that they have heretofore received their full share in my estate I will and direct that my children, Martin Didion, Peter Didion, Jacob Didion, Frank Didion and Mary Didion take no part or share in the distribution of my said estate.

Item
     I give and bequeath unto my granddaughters Rose Didion and Bertha Didion, the issue of my deceased son, John Didion, the sum of Twenty-five Dollars each.

Item
     All the rest, residue and remainder of my said estate, whether real, personal or mixed and wheresoever situated, I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter, Martha Netzer and to her heirs and assigns forever.

     Lastly I hereby nominate and appoint son in law Joe Netzer Executor of this my last will without bond. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 19 day of Feb. 1918.

Will*He made a will, dated 19 February 1918 and signed in Billings, Christian County, Missouri. Since his wife had predeceased him, and Peter determined that most of his children had already received their fair share of his estate, he left the bulk of his estate to his daughter, Martha, and appointed her husband, Joe Netzer, executor of the estate. 
Death*Peter died on 20 March 1918 in Billings, Christian County, Missouri, at age 86.6 
Burial*He was buried on 22 March 1918 in St. Joseph's Cemetery, located in Billings, Christian County, Missouri.6
