Elbert (given age 24), his daughter, recorded as Estella Elbert (given age 2 1/12), his brothers, recorded as Daniel Elbert (given age 16) and Carl Elbert (given age 11). Alvin and Mary lived with their daughter and two of Alvin's brothers on a rented farm in Colorado.4

Julia and her family lived at 2107A Montgale Street. Ralph was employed as a truck driver for the government. Helen worked in the office at a clothing store. Son-in-law Eugene was a presser at a dry cleaners. Rose was a stenographer at a coal company. The ages given for some of the household members are clearly wrong. It appears the enumerator returned to the street after the official census date of 15 April to visit homes missed on the first visit.5 
Death*Julia died on 6 February 1942 in Research Hospital, located in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, at age 71.1
