Mrs. Velton, 78, Dies At Home In Ft. Recovery
  Mrs. Rose Ann Velton, 78, died at her home in Ft. Recovery at 8:20 p.m. Friday. She had been a resident of Ft. Recovery for the past 57 years.
  Surviving, in addition to her husband, Michael Velton, are three children, Mrs. Elvira Woeste, Dayton; Victor, of Richmond, Ind; and William, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla; a sister, Mrs. Mary Roherkember, Middletown; and five brothers, Henry Vogel, Ft. Recovery; Jacob Vogel, Coldwater; Leonard Vogel, Fostoria;John Vogel, Cincinnati; and Joe Vogel, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
  Also Surviving are eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Another son and another brother are deceased.
  Mrs. Velton was born in Utica, N.Y., March 25, 1874, the daughter of Henry and Anna Beck Vogel. On October 8, 1895 she was married to Michael Velton. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and a member of the Altar Society. Mrs. Velton died well fortified with the last sacraments of the church.
  Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's church in Ft. Recovery, Fr. A. J. Cook officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys cemetery.
  Friends may call this afternoon at her home in Ft. Recovery. Funeral preparations were made by Riffle Funeral home, Ft. Recovery.
 
Burial*She was buried on 10 November 1952 in St. Mary's Cemetery, located in Fort Recovery, Mercer County, Ohio. Services were held at St. Mary Help of Christians church in Fort Recovery, officiated by Fr. A. J. Cook. Burial was in the parish cemetery, with arrangements by Riffle Funeral Home.1,2
