Marriage*William married Pauline Augusta Unkauf, daughter of Heinrich Augustus Unkauf and Friederika Christina Utz, on 9 September 1931 in Ogden, Weber County, Utah. Family lore is that Pauline married a pen pal from California. They apparently arranged to meet in Ogden and were married there. The license was applied for by September 3 and they were married 6 days later.2,3 
(informant) DeathWilliam John Wood was the informant for the death certificate of Pauline Augusta Unkauf.4 
Death*William died on 19 December 1980 in Placerville, El Dorado County, California, at age 99.1 
Burial*He was buried on 23 December 1980 in Union Cemetery, located in Placerville, El Dorado County, California.1
