SENECA RESIDENT, 61, DIED THIS MORNING
Henry Koerper Succumbs To Heart Disease at Home of Daughter
     Henry Koerper, 61, life-long resident of Seneca county, who resided on Jefferson street until three months ago, died this morning at 4 o'clock in the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sendelbach of Liberty township.
     He had been in failing health for seven months and went to the home of his daughter after his condition became serious. Death was due to heart disease.
     Koerper was a son of Michael and Mary Bartell Koerper and was born in Liberty township. He married Miss Nettie Hoover of Tiffin in May, 1889. Three children were born.
     Besides his widow Koerper leeaves a son and two daughters: Lloyd Edward Koerper and Mrs. Sendelbach of Liberty township and Mrs. William Brickner of Hopewell township.
     Funeral services are to be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Joseph's church, of which Koerper was a lifelong member. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Injuries Are Fatal To Jacob Koerper
Was Employee of Webster Co. 26 Years

     Injuries which he received when he was struck by an automobile while walking across North Sandusky street in a snow storm at 10 a. m. Saturday caused the death of Jacob Koerper, 81, of 99 Apple street, at 1:10 p. m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 1941, in Mercy Hospital.
     Mr. Koerper was born in Liberty township, Aug. 2, 1859 and resided in Seneca county throughout his life. He was formerly a bridge contractor and then for 26 years was an employee of the Webster Manufacturing Company until he retired eight years ago. He was one of 13 children of Michael and and Mary (Bartel) Koerper. He was married in St. Andrew's Catholic church in Liberty township, Aug. 22, 1885 to Catherine Knecht, and is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller, Toledo; and Mrs. Rose Hunter, Canton; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Smith, Mrs. Margaret Gronewold, and Mrs. Anna Brickner, all of Tiffin; one brother, Frank, of Sedalia, Mo. and five grandchildren.
     Funeral services are to be held at 9 a. m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Catholic church and will be followed by burial in St. Joseph's cemetery. The body will lie in state in the Hoffmann Memorial where friends may call.
Death Ruled Accidental

     Death of Mr.Korper was ruled accidental in a verdict announced today by Justice Webb D. Tomb, acting coroner in place of Coroner P. T. Perin who was unable to serve because of illness.
     Justice Tomb, who made an investigation with the assistance of the sheriff's office Saturday afternoon, held death had been caused by "shock, fracture of his right leg and fracture of the skull, the result of accidental striking by an automobile driven by Cecile Marjorie Mays, Route 4, Upper Sandusky."

Mrs. Anna Brickner Dies In Home Here
Funeral Services to be Held Wednesday

     Mrs Anna A. (Mitchell) Brickner, 77, widow of Andrew S. Brickner, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 1950, at 2:45 p. m. in her home at 81 Melissa street, following two months of ill health and one week of serious illness.
     Mrs. Brickner was born Aug. 2, 1873 to Michauel and Mary (Bartell) Brickner of Liberty Township.
     She was married to Andrew S. Brickner in St. Andrew's church and for the past thirty years has lived in Tiffin. Mr. Brickner died on Feb. 14, 1935.
     The last of thirteen children, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anna Depinet of Toledo, and Miss Corinne Brickner at home, and one son, William J. Brickner of Fostoria in addition to six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
     Mrs. Brickner was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church where funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Burial will be made in St. Andrew's cemetery, Liberty township.
     Friends may call at the Hoffmann Memorial after 7 o'clock this evening.
