Mildred D. Miller

Mildred D. Miller, 99, formerly of 408 Brinker St., died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at Bellevue Care Center following a brief illness. She was born March 28, 1906, in Weavers Corners (Huron County) and was the daughter of Lawrence and Cecelia (Didion) Schindley.

She married Albert E. Miller Nov. 3, 1931, in Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue. He preceded her in death in 1944.

She was a homemaker and farmer's wife living in the Attica area for 57 years. She was deeply devoted to her faith and also helped support the missions during her life. She was a 72-year member of the Attica Alter-Rosary Society. She also was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue.

She is survived by: her son, Thomas Miller, Richfield, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy (Delbert) Daniel and Mrs. Mary Lou (Robert) McKibben, both of Bellevue; nine grandchildren, Kathy (Jeff) Perkins, Ron Daniel of Bellevue, Ken Daniel of Republic, Gary (Kathy) Miller of Norton, Tina (Sherman) Crowder of Medina, Wendy (Greg) Corner of New Bremen, Mark (Melissa) Miller of Alliance, Melissa (Mike) Mcknight of Clyde, and Michael McKibben of Bellevue; six great-grandchildren, Carrie (Ryan) Horn, Jackie Grody, Nicole Miller, Kaylie Miller, Libby Corner, Benjamin Miller, Cameryn McKnight; one great-great-grandchild, Deegan Horn; one step grandson, Ross Crowder; and her sister-in-law, Frances Schindley of Bellevue.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; and brothers Andrew, Alfred, Raymond and Norbert Schindley.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Foos and Son Funeral Home, 311 W. Main St., Bellevue, with the rosary service starting at 5:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue with the Rev. John Nagele officiating. Burial to follow at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Attica.
