SR 162, Republic, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the Bellevue Care Center. He was born April 27, 1925 in Reed Township, the son of the late Otto and Loretta (Hahl) Miller. Bernard was a lifelong farmer and owned the former Harvest Moon Restaurant and Shell Station in Attica. He was a member of the former Reed Assumption Church and St. Gaspar Church. Survivors include a daughter, Janice M. Holm of Attica; sons, Gerald F. (Elizabeth) Miller of Republic and Donald R. (Lynn) Miller of Attica; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and his special friend Bernadine Roth of Republic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Anita (Schneider) Miller, whom he married June 5, 1948 at Immaculate Conception Church, and brothers Arthur W. Miller and Francis J. Miller. Friends will be received 4-9 p.m. today, March 4, 2006 and 2-9 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006, at Foos and Son Funeral Home, 311 W. Main St., Bellevue. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Mar. 6, 2006 at St. Gaspar Church 16209 E. CR 46, Bellevue.
