He was the son of John Frisch and Anna Maria Krupp
Marriage*He married first Odelia Hahl, daughter of Sebastian Hahl and Anna Maria Wilhelm, on 22 February 1870 in Assumption Church, located in Reed Township, Seneca County, Ohio. The wedding was held at Assumption Church, performed by the Rev. Nicholas Gales, pastor. Witnesses were Joseph Frisch, Peter Braun, Philomena Hoehl, and Margaret Kluding.1,2 
Death*John died on 8 May 1916 in Huron County, Ohio, at age 68. He died at his home in Bellevue after an illness that lasted several months.3,4 
Burial*He was buried on 11 May 1916 in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, located in Lyme Township, Huron County, Ohio. The funeral services were held at Immaculate Conception Church, conducted by the Rev. J. A. Michenfelder. Burial was in the parish cemetery.3,4
