Ruth E. Daniel

Ruth E. Daniel, 88, formerly of 67 Hopewell Ave., Tiffin, died at 7:33 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, in St. Francis Home, Tiffin.

She was born July 17, 1916, in Landeck, to the late Alfred J. and Maude E. (Harter) Rahrig. Her husband, Robert E. Daniel Sr., whom she married Aug. 8, 1942, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include: a son, Robert E. Daniel Jr. and his wife, Jan, of Rochester, N.Y; two daughters, Sister Carol S. Daniel, OSF of Springfield, Ill. and Elaine M. Daniel of Woodbury, Minn; three granddaughters, Tia Daniel, Jackie Stuver and Tess Tomanovich; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were two brothers, Lowell and Olan Rahrig, and four sisters, Vera Dukes, Cretora Rahrig, Esther Leonard and Wilma Weinandy.

Mrs. Daniel was a graduate of the Mercy School of Nursing in Jackson, Mich. She was a registered nurse, housewife and mother. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin.

A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, in St. Francis Home Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Dunn officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tiffin.
 
Burial*She was buried on 8 January 2005 in St. Mary's Cemetery, located in Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio. The funeral Mass was held at St. Francis Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Richard Dunn. Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home made the arrangements.1 
(Preceded in deaths) ObitRuth E. Rahrig died before Robert Eugene Daniel Sr, and was mentioned in the obituary of his 3 March 2007 in The Advertiser-Tribune published in Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio.2
