Loretta A. Claus, 83, of Del Moy Avenue, Bellevue, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000,in the Bellevue Care Center.

She was born April 8, 1917, in Marywood, Franks, Seneca County, to Frank and Catherine (Schreiner) Frisch. On May 10, 1938, she married Walter C. Claus, who survives.

Other survivors include: six children, Martin Claus of Bellevue, Mrs. Gene (Terry) Missler of Norwalk, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Frankfather, Raymond and Roger Claus, all of Bellevue and Mrs. John (Patricia) Loose of Monroeville; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Stockmaster of New Washington and Helen Meyers of Milan; and a brother, Frank Frisch Jr. of Tiffin.

Also preceding her in death were a granddaughter, five sisters, Nora Alt, Ann Guloski, Hilda Moyer, Marcella Heyman and Rose Stockmaster; and two brothers, Lawrence and Leo Frisch.

Mrs. Claus, a homemaker, was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue, and its Altar Rosary Society.

A life-time Bellevue area resident, she attended the Franks Area School.

The Rev. Robert Tucceri will be the officiant at the 11 a.m. Saturday service in Immacualte Conception Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Auxter-Groff Funeral Home, Bellevue, where the rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m.l

Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception School, Father Bishop Memorial Fund or Stein Hospice, Sandusky.
